-
Road to Hana Popular Attractions (you need at least 8 hours, call us)
Some of the sights you can visit on your Hana adventure are the famous Seven Sacred Pools of Oheo, the Twin Falls waterfalls, the Ho’okipa Lookout, Honomanu Bay, the two arboretums, the Hana Lava Tube, and Wai’anapanapa State Park. For a piece of history, make a stop at Palapala Ho’omau Church, set on the coast in Kipahulu, where famous aviator Charles Lindbergh is buried. The town of Hana itself is tiny but lovely and has many nice beaches.
-
Secret Waterfalls Hike
This is a moderately difficult hike around 2 miles long, that takes about 3 to 5 hours and requires a fair amount of technical skill. It involves rock-hopping in the creek on slippery rocks in knee-deep water. Although the hike is not physically difficult or demanding, it does require great balance, good strength, and confidence.
-
Maui Ridge
If you would like to hike, this one is around 5 miles long and it takes a place in the lush rain forest of the West Maui Forest with lush scenery, great valley views and some dramatic ridge-line hiking. It goes in cycles of flat and steep areas culminating in a series of switchbacks that lead to the end, a hill called Lani-ili at 2,563 feet. There is a picnic table at the trail’s end where we can enjoy a snack or have lunch. Although this trail is not technically difficult, it does require strong legs and good stamina.
-
Famous State Parks
Maui has many state parks recognized as very special places for both its spiritual value and spectacular scenery. We’ll take you there, show you and tell you more.
-
Haleakala Crater
With stunning views, panoramic out-of-this-world landscapes, birds-eye views of the Maui central valley, you will learn about the flora and fauna that exist nowhere else in the world.
On the way down we can stop for a meal at the Kula Lodge local restaurant (at your own cost), tucked into a mature forest set 3,200 feet above sea level on the west slope of Haleakala Crater which offers scenic views of nearby flower farms, the surrounding mountains, and ocean.
-
